The Quadra Island Quilters are a diverse group of people who produce a wide variety of art works made mainly from cotton fabrics. The group has produced some traditional pieces as well as modern works designed by the members.

The Quadra Quilters have held shows in the bi-annual Quilt and Garden Tour, at the 2009 Quilt and Tea show as well as regular showings at the Quadra Island Credit Union in Quathiaski Cove.

A number of members of the Quadra Island Quilters have their own studios which are open for visits. The Quilters are an active group in the Quadra Island Arts Alliance and involved in community service making Comfort Quilts for BC Children's Hospital and Community Quilts for local residents in need.

The guild meets on the second Tuesday of every month from September until June at the Quadra Island Community Center. New members and visitors are very welcome. We start at 9:30 with a business meeting, then proceed to Show and Share and Block of the Month and after a bagged lunch we have an afternoon program demonstrating a technique, holding a work bee, or conducting a mini workshop. Members are also welcome to work on their own projects which may include getting help to sandwich their quilts.
